Seth Rollins shocked the WWE Universe at Extreme Rules when he returned from a knee injury to Pedigree Roman Reigns following The Big Dog’s successful WWE World Heavyweight Title defense against AJ Styles. The next night on Raw, Shane McMahon — recognizing that The Architect was never actually defeated for the WWE World Heavyweight Title — announced that Rollins will challenge Reigns for WWE’s most coveted championship on Sunday, June 19 at WWE Money in the Bank.
Despite spending six months on the shelf with a torn right ACL, MCL and medial meniscus, the time off did nothing to tame the cocky and brash Rollins, who lashed out at the WWE Universe Monday.
