Game changer
SPOKANE, Wash. -- After No Way Out, Raw was in flux, with the World Heavyweight Title having fallen into the clutches of SmackDown's Edge and Randy Orton continuing his seemingly unstoppable quest to cement his "Legacy" at the expense of the McMahons'. The Legend Killer's march through the McMahon family continued on Monday night as he punted Shane and RKO'd his sister, Stephanie. Orton's actions were brutal and vicious enough to draw out Triple H, who rushed down the entrance ramp to tend to the fallen General Manager.

Shane McMahon, eager to avenge his father and put a stop to the horror Randy Orton has rained down on the McMahon family, waited in the ring spoiling for a fight. The Legend Killer didn't disappoint, immediately engaging Shane O'Mac, trading blows with Mr. McMahon's son in a brawl that spilled out over the barriers into the audience. Shane had regained the upperhand and was preparing to hit Orton with the Coast-To-Coast when Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase rushed to the ring allowing the Legend Killer to deliver a vicious, game-ending punt, the same maneuver that incapacitated Shane O'Mac's father.
As Orton stood over his defeated foe, Stephanie McMahon rushed to the ring to tend to her brother. Raw's General Manager's attempts to revive Shane McMahon were interrupted by the viper-like Superstar, who struck out at Stephanie, leveling her with a vicious RKO. As Randy Orton stood over two more members of the McMahon family laid low by his actions, none other than WWE Champion Triple H rushed down the ramp, causing the Legend Killer and his "Legacy" to clear the ring.
The Funks, Terry and Dory Jr. to be inducted as part of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009
The next inductees to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009 were announced: The Funks, Terry and Dory Jr. The Texan legends will be inducted by Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes the night before the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania in Houston.
Women's Champion Melina def. Beth Phoenix to retain (PHOTOS)
In a Women's Title Match, Beth Phoenix had an opportunity to regain championship gold from her rival, Melina. As usual, The Glamazon was accompanied to the ring both by her beau Santino Marella and her overzealous "intern," Rosa Mendes. Beth's crazed No. 1 fan had proven her worth in recent weeks by providing distractions and even involving herself in her idol's matches. In order to prevent any shady business from Rosa or the Italian Superstar, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James and Candice Michelle arrived mid-match to neutralize Beth's associates. With the fight truly one-on-one, Melina defeated The Glamazon to retain her title.
Rey Mysterio def. Mike Knox (PHOTOS)
Just 24 hours after they faced one another in a brutal Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title, Rey Mysterio once again took on the monstrous Mike Knox. Though Mysterio had taken exceptional amounts of damage at No Way Out, participating in the Elimination Chamber from start to finish, the Ultimate Underdog persevered, gaining a pinfall victory over his massive opponent.
Shawn Michaels and JBL to face one another for the right to try and end Undertaker's 16-0 WrestleMania streak (PHOTOS | WATCH)
As announced on WWE Mobile on AT&T the night prior, JBL appeared on Raw in order to make a historic declaration. The self-proclaimed "wrestling god," revealed what he believes to be his destiny: Ending Undertaker's unassailable 16-0 record at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania. The Longhorn Loudmouth's pontificating was interrupted, however, by the Superstar that defeated him at No Way Out in an All or Nothing Match, JBL's former employee, Shawn Michaels. The Showstopper revealed that he also desires to face The Phenom at the Grandest Spectacle of Them All, ending that legendary winning streak and reestablishing himself as Mr. WrestleMania. With the two Superstars' agendas so clearly at odds, they acknowledged that there was only solution: A match between them both on the next Raw, with the winner facing Undertaker at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.
Kane def. Jamie Noble (PHOTOS)
Jamie Noble took to the Raw ring on Monday night, campaigning for a WrestleMania opportunity for himself. The tenacious Superstar referenced Chavo Guerrero's 9-second loss to Kane at last year's show and added that he could personally do better. Noble was next given a chance to prove that statement as his opponent, the Big Red Monster himself emerged. Despite the West Virginia native's resiliency and technical prowess, the 7-footer was too much for Noble, promptly pinning his opponent.

Chris Jericho took to the ring to address the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, imploring them not to give the star of The Wrestler, Mickey Rourke their vote for Best Actor. Segueing, the nefarious Superstar went on to degrade WWE Legends and Hall of Famers, a favorite topic of his in recent weeks. Arriving to take the 2008 Superstar of the Year to task was "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. The WWE Hall of Famer stated his intention to keep giving the WWE Universe what they want, and followed it up with an attack on Jericho. Unfortunately for the "Rowdy" one, the first-ever Undisputed Champion was able to turn the attack around, dropping the WrestleMania veteran before exiting the ring.
Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase & William Regal def. Intercontinental Champion CM Punk & Cryme Tyme (PHOTOS)
Randy Orton's "Legacy" members, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase joined forces with William Regal on Raw to take on Intercontinental Champion CM Punk & Cryme Tyme in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. In spite of an impressive performance from the Intercontinental Champion, especially in some hard-fought moments with the British Brawler, his team wasn't able to obtain victory. Ultimately, it was DiBiase who pinned JTG for the win.
Shane McMahon challenged Randy Orton to an Unsanctioned Fight
In the locker room area, Shane McMahon announced that his No Holds Barred Match against Randy Orton at No Way Out was only the beginning. Shane O'Mac, still suffering from injuries that necessitated him being hospitalized the night before, went on to challenge the venomous Superstar to an Unsanctioned Fight that won't end until one of the competitors is no longer moving.
John Cena made clear his intention to win back the World Heavyweight Title from new World Heavyweight Champion Edge (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Raw was opened by one of the WWE Universe's most reviled couples: New World Heavyweight Champion Edge and the General Manager of SmackDown, Vickie Guerrero. The SmackDown Superstar made this special appearance on Raw in order to gloat, showing off his championship gold, as Vickie explained the circumstances that led to her husband participating and winning the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match. Though Edge lost the WWE Championship earlier in the night, he was able to pilfer a spot in the Raw Elimination Chamber by attacking Kofi Kingston and slipping into his pod. The Master Manipulator's preening was interrupted by John Cena, however, who proceeded to inform Edge that he plans on getting back his World Heavyweight Title.
