Jericho update
Due to JBL's brutal attack with a cable cord last week, Chris Jericho has had difficulty speaking and breathing all week, those close to Y2J have told WWE.com.
Jericho suffered burn marks on his neck and a bruised larynx, sources told WWE.com. JBL attacked Y2J during a Handicap Match pitting Jericho against the Texan-turned-New Yorker and Snitsky.
Several officials had to pull the self-made millionaire off Jericho. The ferocity of JBL's attack stunned even his closest of associates.
Y2J wasn't at Raw tonight because of his injuries, leaving the self-proclaimed "wrestling god" free to crow about his attack on Y2J during his own "second coming" -- the second attempt at a grand entrance on Raw. His first attempt ended in a brawl when Jericho interrupted his Raw debut two weeks ago. (WATCH)
JBL warned Jericho not to show up for their scheduled match at Royal Rumble, or he will need "saving" from the beating he will get. Knowing Jericho, he won't stay quiet for very long, bruised larynx or not.
