At NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, an uncontainable clash of the titans will continue when “Bomber” Dave Mastiff once again goes head-to-head with Joe Coffey in a Last Man Standing Match. 

After several weeks of rising tension inside and outside the ring, a one-on-one collision of massive proportions initially took place when Mastiff battled Gallus’ “Iron King” on NXT UK’s main event. With animosity at an all-time high, the mammoth competitors engaged in an epic slugfest with devastating results.

So much so that Coffey and Mastiff each sustained injuries as the bout ended in a double count-out, and NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala decided that the only way to settle things and assure a clear winner once and for all would be a Last Man Standing Match NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff.
