Level Up

Nikkita Lyons def. Jakara Jackson

Having already made a name for herself on NXT 2.0, Nikkita Lyons looked right at home during her first appearance on NXT Level Up in a hard-hitting battle with impressive newcomer Jakara Jackson.

Jackson, who put up a valiant effort but fell short against Isla Dawn last week on NXT Level Up, showed off a mean streak when she dodged a big boot and swiftly yanked her opponent to the mat by her hair before raining down right hands.

Lyons nevertheless fired back with a sidewalk slam and later sealed the win with a kick to the chin and a unique split-legged leg drop.

Damon Kemp def. Tank Ledger

In a foul mood after losing to Chase University’s Duke Hudson last week, Damon Kemp quickly sent Tank Ledger to the mat and disrespected him by stepping on his back and strutting to the other side of the squared circle.

The fun-loving and powerful Ledger, who sports a fedora on his jaunt to the ring, went into “Tank Mode” by fighting out of a submission hold, chucking his foe with a hip toss, and hitting a ring-rattling fallaway slam.

Kemp soon struck back with an innovative uranage that saw him drop Ledger onto his knee to claim the win.

Joe Gacy def. Odyssey Jones

Joe Gacy goes into every match prepared to overwhelm his opponent with mind games, but even Schism’s unsettling and dangerous leader had his hands full against the colossal Odyssey Jones.

Eerily grinning from ear to ear, Gacy soon became frustrated when Jones outmuscled him and effortlessly dropped him with back-to-back scoop slams and a pair of rolling sentons. Ava Raine, however, provided a key assist by grabbing Jones’ leg when he went for a third.

Jones got back on the attack and came within an eyelash of pinning Gacy after a massive slam, but Gacy soon delivered a kick to Jones’ surgically repaired knee and clobbered him with his Handspring Lariat for the three-count.
