CHICAGO -- In a special bonus contest at No Mercy, The World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch and Mr. Kennedy defeated Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy and London & Kendrick in a Six Man Tag Team Match.
Just six days after losing to Hardy and London & Kendrick on Raw, Cade & Murdoch enlisted the loudmouth Superstar to exact revenge. Ever the Superstar to steal the spotlight, the Green Bay-born Kennedy delivered for his teammates in front of a hostile Chicago crowd, picking up the victory for his team when he pinned Paul London.
The fast-paced aerial assault of Hardy, London & Kendrick kept their opponents grounded, but the powerful offensive arsenal of Kennedy, Cade & Murdoch was too much to overcome for the high-flying trio. Both sides may have paid a price as all six men limped back to the locker room. But for tonight, Mr. Kennedy, Cade & Murdoch could raise their hands in victory over their budding rivals.
