Freedom Hall - Louisville, KY

Opened in 1956, Freedom Hall is located on the grounds of the Kentucky State Exposition Center. The University of Louisville men's basketball team played its first game there in December 1956, and Freedom Hall has been their home ever since.

From 1970-1976, Freedom Hall was also the home of the American Basketball Association's Kentucky Colonels. It has also played host to several NCAA basketball conference tournaments and post-season games, including six Final Fours. Freedom Hall has also hosted some of the biggest musical acts in the world, such as The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, Michael Jackson and KISS, among others.

In addition to Judgment Day 2000, Freedom Hall has hosted several RAW and SmackDown events, including a RAW in October 2001 that saw a Street Fight between Shane McMahon and his father, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon. The venue also played host to WCW's Uncensored pay-per-view in 1999.
