It took three attempts, but the undaunted Paul London finally connected with his high-risk finisher to reap a victory over Chavo Guerrero at Judgment Day Sunday night.

London looked to have the match won early when he went for the 450 Splash, only to have the crafty Guerrero put his knees up to block the move and send London reeling.

From there, Guerrero had the advantage as he worked over the daredevil Cruiserweight Champion, at one point using a painful abdominal stretch on London, who was already suffering from hurt ribs after the botched 450 Splash.

But London would rally and eventually prepare for yet another 450 Splash, this time trying to nail Guerrero while he was on the outside. Unfortunately for London, he merely grazed the challenger. As a result, both Superstars felt the pain from the risky maneuver.

After trading blows on the top rope, London sent Guerrero to the mat and finally connected with a perfect 450 Splash for the win.
