Despite Tavion Heights' attempt to help his friend, the numbers game of The Vanity Project proved too great as Jackson Drake ultimately overcame Myles Borne with a 450 Splash to steal the NXT North American Championship.
As the dust cleared, a frustrated Borne took out Heights in the center of the ring.
Grayson Waller def. Tony D’Angelo, Zilla Fatu and Cruz Montana to win the NXT Championship
After it appeared that Grayson Waller injured his knee by leaping off the top rope to deliver the elbow on Zilla Fatu through the announce table, it looked as if Cruz Montana was going to put away titleholder Tony D’Angelo after hitting Spin the Block in the final moments of a chaotic match. At the last second, however, Waller leaped back into the action, hitting Montana with a Stunner before picking up the pin on D’Angelo himself to steal the NXT Championship.
