The honors keep pouring in for one of WWE's hottest Divas, Maria. During the past year she's been a Playboy cover girl, a guest star on Project Runway and she participated in a match at WrestleMania XXIV. Now Maria's been named one of FHM Online's 100 Sexiest Women of 2008.

"FHM is a huge, huge ordeal. It has been around for a while, and to be named on their list of the top 100 was so exciting," Maria said.

Maria joins other celebrities such as Jessica Biel, Angelina Jolie and Heidi Klum on FHM's list. Clearly, it's no secret Maria is not only one of the sexiest Divas around, but one of the world's sexiest women. But just what makes her so attractive?

"I don't know! Maybe ask our fans because they're the ones that put me here," she giggled. "When it comes to sex appeal I think that it's … I don't really try I guess, I just really am me and that's it. What you see is what you get and maybe there's something sexy about it."

Many of our fans would have to agree that Maria deserves to be honored on FHM Online's prestigious list this year. It seems some of Maria's biggest fans are a few of her Diva friends.

"I think that's an amazing honor and I think she is sexy. I'm so happy for her. She's gorgeous and I think she belongs on that list and hopefully one day I will, too," ECW's Kelly Kelly said.

WWE Diva Search winner, Eve, said her personal goal is to make People magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People list. The SmackDown Diva explained that Maria's placement on FHM's list is a positive note for all WWE Divas.

"We are known as the Sexiest Women on Television, and I think for one of us not to be recognized would be a shame," Eve said. "And I think her being in Playboy let the world know even more just how sexy she is. But I think its great representation for us and I'm happy for her."

On the other hand, one of Maria's Raw counterparts considered the Diva's spot on the list a joke.

"Are you serious? She's in the top 100?" Jillian laughed. "I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, they were thinking about putting me in, but then they were saving me for the Billboard Top 100, so they didn't put me in this year.' But I guess maybe they gave it to her since I wasn't available."

One of Jillian's fiercest allies, Melina, sided with Raw's pop princess.

"If they picked Maria for the top 100 Sexiest Women, then I guess they don't have very many girls to choose from and not very many people voting," Melina said, rolling her eyes.

WWE's newest Diva, Natalya, explained that it's only a matter of time before she meets Maria in the ring, and after that, FHM might think twice about bestowing the honor on the Diva.

"The moment she steps foot in the ring with Natalya, she's going to need a damn good plastic surgeon. She's going to need all the help she can get -- and all the best makeup products and moisturizers and skin care," Natalya scoffed.

The SmackDown Diva said she learned her keen survival skills in the Dungeon -- a place Maria wouldn't dare venture.

"Maria, in my opinion, is only in FHM for one reason: she sold out. But when she steps foot in the ring with me, it's going to be more than just two pretty faces. I plan on finishing her off and we'll see what magazine she's in next year then, after I get done," Natalya continued. "…But I will refer her to a very good facial reconstruction surgeon."

Natayla's best friend on SmackDown, Victoria, chimed in and pointed out to WWE.com that another Diva should have topped FHM's list: Victoria.

"Do I have to take my clothes off to be nominated as one of the 100 Sexiest Women? Evidently I do. But you know what, I really don't put much thought into it," the ruthless Diva said.

"Good for her, but it doesn't matter to me because I'm the toughest, sexiest and the most dominant Diva here in WWE. So that's where my focus is," continued two-time Women's Champion Victoria. "And ask Maria where her Women's Championship is? Exactly, she doesn't have one!"

Maryse was positively appalled by Maria's so-called "honor," and said she'd never want to be a part of an organzation like FHM.

"FHM magazine is one of the cheesiest magazines in America. I'm not talking about Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan… FHM is the lowest. FHM? Come on! I've never even posed for FHM, so that tells you how bad it is," the SmackDown Diva said.

"Maria might have some very close connections with the owner, or she did some kind of favor, because most of the girls in FHM are those kinds of girls. That's one of the reasons why I never posed for FHM, because I'm not one of those girls." Maryse said with a wicked smile.

Fear not, Maria fans, the Diva does have a few other friends on the roster who wanted to offer her congratulations.

"I don't think you can deny that Maria is a very sexy, sexy girl and I think her Playboy cover and spread this year definitely proved that, so I'm excited for her," said SmackDown's All-American Girl, Michelle McCool.

WWE.com surprised Mickie James with Maria's big news, and the Women's Champion said the honor is remarkable.

"I think that's awesome she is one of FHM's 100 Sexiest Women. Of course, obviously they don't know about me, because if they did I would have been No. 1, but other than that I think it's great," the Raw Champ chuckled.
