WWE Universe heads to 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International

Geeks, gamers and graphic art aficionados will be joined by grapplers this year at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International, as WWE Superstars touch down in the 619 for the "Mecca of all things pop culture" this week.

For four days, WWE.com will be beside the Superstars and Divas to bring the WWE Universe exclusive video footage -- interviews, convention floor coverage and more -- all weekend long. Plus, follow WWE on Twitter for live, instantaneous reports and photos from the convention floor.

Drawing an anticipated 126,000 purveyors of popular arts to the paradise of southern California, San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is an event with a 30-plus-year history and it's only getting bigger. Franchises like Mattel, Marvel Entertainment, DC Comics, Star Wars, Nintendo, and every sci-fi or entertainment niche in between display their newest and greatest projects for the next year and beyond, for all to behold.

This week, WWE.com joins the likes of U.S. Champion The Miz, Melina, Brie & Nikki Bella and others at the Mattel toy booth, where the world champion toymaker will make huge announcements about its future WWE action figure lines and release the first-ever SDCC exclusive WWE figure of The Undertaker. Plus, WWE.com will explore the latest from Titan Publishers' WWE Heroes comics while the Superstars rub elbows with comic book industry icons of all kinds (not to mention legions and legions of costumed comic fans).

The WWE Universe is formally invited to savor a hearty sampling of what the San Diego Comic-Con has to offer -- with a WWE spin -- right here on WWE.com.
