John Cena responds to LeBron James' request for a WWE World Heavyweight Title

Late Sunday night, LeBron James tweeted that he wanted a WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It didn't take long for King James to get the opportunity to have his birthday wish granted personally by an 11-time WWE Champion, John Cena.

Cena quickly answered with a message of his own Sunday night directed at the two-time NBA champion and recently named Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year.

"Hey LeBron James, this is WWE Superstar John Cena," the Cenation leader said in his Tout response. "It's cold, I'm in the middle of nowhere, but I can still get you a WWE Championship. Tweet me back and I'll handle it."

LeBron's tweet may have been prompted by the sight of Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy celebrating his first NFL rushing title live on Sunday Night Football with a smaller replica of the classic World Heavyweight Championship after the Eagles defeated the Cowboys.

"My financial advisor is from Texas and told me he was going to give me a rushing title belt if we won the game, so here it is," McCoy said proudly of his replica title.

Seeing professional athletes reveling in their triumphs with replicas of WWE's most coveted prize has increasingly become a trend in the sports landscape. From Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, elite athletes haven't been satisfied with their championship rings alone, instead craving the one-of-a-kind feel of the WWE Title around their waist. Most recently, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon personally sent WWE Titles to MLB pitchers Clayton Kershaw and Max Scherzer after they won Cy Young Awards.

It may not be long until we also see King James adorned with WWE's crown jewel.
