In honor of Raw's one-year anniversary on Netflix this Monday, WWE.com and Pat McAfee Show contributor Mark Kaboly lists his top moment from all 52 shows.
Ep. 1 – Jan. 6: CM Punk’s double GTS to Seth Rollins in the main event was special, but nothing on this day tops the opening moment of the history of WWE fading into a spotlight on Triple H in the center of the ring.
Ep. 2 — Jan. 13: Michael Cole may have called it the “worst kept secret,” but it didn’t lessen the moment when Penta made his WWE debut by defeating Chad Gable with the Penta Driver.
Ep. 3 — Jan. 20: Jey Uso and Gunther delivered a fiery face-to-face leading up to Saturday Night Main Event that set the stage for a championship year for both.
Ep. 4 — Jan. 27: A month after The New Day betrayed Big E, Xavier Woods’ family turned against him by wearing “New Day Sucks” shirts in the front row of the match against Rey Mysterio. It ultimately led to Woods losing.
Ep. 5 — Feb. 3: Punk qualified for the Elimination Chamber with a win over Sami Zayn, but that wasn’t the big story. Kevin Owens assaulted his longtime friend and finished the assault with a Package Piledriver.
Ep. 6 — Feb 10: Gunther came out of the crowd and viciously attacked a Yeeting Uso. It provoked Uso to pick the World Heavyweight Champion as his opponent at WrestleMania.
Ep. 7 — Feb. 17: Seth Rollins and Roxanne Perez captured the final spots in the Elimination Chamber.
Ep. 8 — Feb. 24: A history-making Raw as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez became the first three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with a win over Bianca Belair and Naomi.
Ep. 9 — March 3: Upset over costing him an opportunity to headline WrestleMania 41, Punk unleashed a tirade on Rollins that led to The Visionary and The Second City Saint brawling all over KeyBank Center in Buffalo.
Ep. 10 — March 10: If a cage match between Rollins and Punk wasn’t enough, Roman Reigns returned and took his frustrations out on Rollins, as well as Spearing Punk as he was being consoled by Paul Heyman.
Ep. 11 — March 17: John Cena’s explanation of his "bad guy" persona to kick of Raw in Brussels, Belgium, included taking aim at a young fan wearing a Cena shirt in the front row referring to him and people like him a “toxic dysfunctional relationship.”
Ep. 12 — March 24: El Grande Americano's much-anticipated debut resulted in an entertaining victory over Dragon Lee.
Ep. 13 — March 31: A double DQ ruled by special guest referee Bianca Belair allowed Women’s World Champion IYO SKY to retain her title over Rhea Ripley and ultimately set up a WrestleMania Triple Threat Match.
Ep. 14 — April 7: A few days after Punk demanded Heyman be in his corner at WrestleMania 41, Rollins interrupted Heyman’s mic moment before Punk arrived, which didn’t go well for The Second City Saint.
Ep. 15 — April 14: As WrestleMania approached, the main event got even hotter when Reigns confronted Heyman. This brought out Rollins, who ultimately Stomped both Reigns and Punk after Heyman got shoved to the canvas by The OTC.
Ep. 16 — April 21: After losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Morgan and Rodriguez, Becky Lynch turned on her protégé Lyra Valkyria that set the stage for Becky's new direction.
Ep. 17 — April 28: A week after getting attacked by Gunther, Pat McAfee called out The Ring General. General Manager Nick Aldis made a sanctioned match between the two at WWE Backlash.
Ep. 18 — May 5: Uso made his first defense of the World Heavyweight Title by defeating Rollins in a melee that included Zayn, Bron Breakker and Punk. Despite the win, Logan Paul clobbered Uso from the crowd then retreated.
Ep. 19 — May 12: Lynch’s powerful mic drop solidifying the change in her attitude asserted her determination of reclaiming the Women's Intercontinental Title she lost at WWE Backlash.
Ep. 20 — May 19: The Logan Paul Raw. Paul kicked off the program by confronting Gunther, being Super Kicked by Uso, and ended it by sucker punching Uce once again.
Ep. 21 — May 26: Two days after SNME, The Vision kicked off Raw, and Rollins outlined what the faction is all about. After qualifying for MITB at the end of the show, Punk slid in from the crowd and delivered a GTS to Rollins.
Ep. 22 — June 2: Stephanie Vaquer's first match as a member of Raw resulted in her acquiring the final spot for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match by defeating Ivy Nile and Liv Morgan.
Ep. 23 — June 9: In a feel-good moment, R-Truth returned and claimed that "Ron Killings" was back. After cutting off his dreadlocks, he proclaimed: “R-Truth, the truth has set me free.”
Ep. 24 — June 16: WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg surprised everybody by interrupting and then informing Gunther that they will have a title match at the next SNME.
Ep. 25 — June 23: Uso and Cody Rhodes battled for a spot in the final of the King of the Ring Tournament to face Randy Orton in a hotly-contested matchup between friends. Cody advanced with a Cross Rhodes to Uso.
Ep. 26 — June 30: JD McDonough and Finn Bálor of The Judgment Day defeated The New Day to claim the World Tag Team Championship.
Ep. 27 — July 7: With SNME five days away, Goldberg set the stage for his final match against Gunther with his patented entrance followed by confronting the World Heavyweight Champion with some choice words and a statement-making slap of the microphone out of The Ring General’s hand.
Ep. 28 — July 14: Roman Reigns stunned everybody as he returned after a near three-month hiatus not so much to help CM Punk and Jey Uso but to claim a piece of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, most notably Reed.
Ep. 29 — July 21: Reigns returned to get some things off his chest to Paul Heyman, who tried to recruit The OTC to return to him. With Reed and Breakker in tow, Reigns got jumped but got backup from Uso.
Ep. 30 — July 28: In a somber moment, WWE paid tribute to the immortal Hulk Hogan, who passed a few days earlier, with a 10-bell salute to start the program. Tributes by Superstars were given throughout the program.
Ep. 31 — Aug. 4: A lot happened in this segment: LA Knight injected himself into Seth Rollins’ victory speech that resulted in a match to end the show. Punk inserted himself into the World Heavyweight Title Match resulting in a DQ. Reigns showed up and The Vision beat down Reigns, Knight and Punk.
Ep. 32 — Aug. 11: After Punk and Knight challenged Breakker and Reed to a match, Breakker, now famously said, “You are 47 and you are 40… you are 100 years old combined.”
Ep. 33 — Aug. 18: Women’s World Champion Naomi was called to the ring by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, where the champ announced that she was pregnant and would relinquish the gold. She made it known that she’s back in nine months to take that title back.
Ep. 34 — Aug. 25: Lynch accepted Nikki Bella’s challenge to a Women’s Intercontinental Title Match at WWE Clash in Paris, then tried to cheap shot her with a kick. Bella was anticipating it and countered with a forearm to the head, making The Man scurry.
Ep. 35 — Sept. 1: Lynch delivered multiple slaps to the face of Punk after a fiery exchange between the two about Rollins. Punk was still sore over Seth cashing the Money in the Bank contract, and Becky did his dirty work. Punk said that Lynch would regret touching him.
Ep. 36 — Sept. 8: AJ Lee returned after a decade hiatus after Lynch slapped her husband the week before. Lee challenged Lynch and Rollins to a match with her and Punk at WWE Wrestlepalooza.
Ep. 37 — Sept. 15: “John Cena’s jorts are stronger than Brock Lesnar’s jeans.” Cena was attacked by Lesnar twice that set up the match at Wrestlepalooza, and Cena set the tone during Raw of what and why.
Ep. 38 — Sept. 22: Bayley defeated Roxanne Perez, but the multiple personalities of Bayley were on display when she snapped and shoved her ally and friend Lyra Valkyria to the mat before screaming at her, the same Bayley who hugged everybody on her way to the ring before the match.
Ep. 39 — Sept. 29: Dominik Mysterio put his Intercontinental Title on the line against Rusev and was pummeled by The Bulgarian Brute from the outset. Yet, Dom’s low blow helped him hold onto his championship.
Ep. 40 — Oct. 6: Maxxine Dupri pulled off a major upset when she defeated Lynch in a non-title match. Becky was assuming she was going to make easy work of Dupri, but it didn’t happen. Lynch was counted out while grandstanding outside the ring.
Ep. 41 — Oct. 13: After a successful night at WWE Crown Jewel with Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins winning, in an unprovoked attack and unbeknownst to Paul Heyman and Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker Speared Rollins. He then convinced Reed and Heyman to join him moving forward.
EP. 42 — Oct. 20: An angry Adam Pearce stripped Rollins of his World Heavyweight Championship and took the belt from Breakker, but not before the Raw GM was forced to say “please.” He then announced a Battle Royal to determine who would face Punk at SNME for the title.
Ep. 43 — Oct. 27: Easily the best match of the night, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair defended their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Bayley was the star of the night. The Kabuki Warriors' sneak attack after the match added to it all.
Ep. 44 — Nov. 3: Logan Paul came to the aid of Punk against Breakker and Reed, but that’s not how it all ultimately went down. Paul used his brass knuckles on Punk instead before handing them over to Heyman in what was a symbol of him looking to join The Vision.
Ep. 45 — Nov. 10: Cena won the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career and did it in front of his hometown of Boston with a victory over Dominik Mysterio.
Ep. 46 — Nov. 17: Cena’s final appearance at The World’s Most Famous Arena was a special one. He gave Mysterio a rematch for the Intercontinental Title at Survivor Series, then teamed with Rey Mysterio and Sheamus to defeat Dom Mysterio, Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh.
Ep. 47 — Nov. 24: The Men’s WarGames competitors took part in a massive brawl, but the most memorable moment was Dominik Mysterio’s destruction of "Little John Cena" before Rey Mysterio arrives to stop the beatdown.
Ep. 48 — Dec. 1: Liv Morgan made her return to Raw and gloated over her role in helping Dom defeat Cena at Survivor Series to regain the Intercontinental Title.
Ep. 49 — Dec. 8: Bronson Reed hits a Tsunami off a platform and onto LA Knight on top of a SUV. Enough said.
Ep. 50 — Dec. 15: After a few weeks of the mystery black-masked man causing havoc, he finally reveals himself after helping Logan Paul defeat Rey Mysterio – Austin Theory.
Ep. 51 — Dec. 22: Gunther continues to celebrate making Cena tap out the week before, but this time, Punk had enough. He confronted The Ring General, who just walked away laughing and mocking Cena.
Ep. 52 — Dec. 29: The year ended with the arguably the best tag team of all time regaining its place on top as The Usos defeated AJ Styles & Dragon Lee to take the World Tag Team Title.
