“Star Wars” characters reimagined as WWE Superstars
What would happen if Star Wars’ epic battles transpired not in a galaxy far, far away, but in a wrestling ring? WWE.com reimagines the saga’s most iconic characters as rough-and-tumble gladiators of the squared circle in our own universe.

Lucas Skye
Growing up in a remote farming community with his aunt and uncle, the young Lucas Skye yearned for a life of adventure between the ropes. After a chance encounter with a mysterious former champion, Skye received the training he needed to not only leave his Midwest territory to become one of the sport’s most awe-inspiring high-flyers, but the first competitor to eke out a victory over Dark Invader at the first-annual Death Starrcade. Armed with his Proton Torpedo Dropkick and the gravity-defying Forceful Facebuster, Skye represents a new hope for wrestling fans everywhere, but something tells us it’s only a matter of time until Invader strikes back.
The One
Splashes and suplexes are no match for a good haymaker in your arsenal, kid. This is the mindset of The One, a scoundrel in every sense of the word. Frequently shooting from the hip — and shooting first, in most cases — this prizefighter is a former champion in the now-defunct Kessel Run Wrestling promotion. Even though he’s tagged with The Big Chew, The One doesn’t shy away from flying solo.
Artie
If you’re searching for a grappler who’s as resourceful as he is mischievous, Artie is the wrestler you’re looking for. Though he’s undersized compared to many of his opponents, he never goes into a battle without a plan, and despite the many close calls in battle alongside his frequent tag team partner, Carlo, he always seems to make it through without a scratch.
Carlo
Jittery and nervous to a fault, Carlo fears confrontation, and were it not for the industrious Artie by his side, he’d probably fall to pieces. And yet, his cautious nature and obsession with the odds — which he always seems to think are against him — has helped he and Artie pull out upset victories over such powerful tag teams as The Separatists and The Bounty Hunters. A linguistic marvel capable of communicating with just about any crowd in any city in the world, his catchphrase, “I have a bad feeling about this,” transcends all language barriers.
Dark Invader
Hiding his scarred face behind a mask and crushing his opponents with near-supernatural efficiency, Dark Invader is one of the most dominant in-ring competitors in history, wiping out entire stables with his brutal Star Destroyer Chokeslam. Dubbed “The Dark Lord” in some circles, Invader’s identity remains a mystery, although some speculate that this ruthless powerhouse was once a fan-favorite before he fully embraced his dark side.
The Big Chew
The one prevailing rumor about this hulking, hairy fighter is that he once tore a referee’s arm out of its socket after a controversial pinfall. Given his reputation as a sore loser in his rookie years, The Big Chew won numerous matches via forfeit due to his fearful opponents’ dread of dismemberment. Even though The Big Chew is often perceived as a beast, he’s intensely loyal to his friends, having formed a successful partnership dubbed The Falcons with The One that was recently voted Tag Team of the Millennium.
Rebelle
A true leader on her roster, Rebelle is one-half princess, one-half warrior and 100-percent as defiant as her name implies. After Dark Invader drove her territory out of business, Rebelle started a locker room resistance against the powerhouse that continues to this day. Although there have been rumors of a backstage relationship with Lucas Skye after they were spotted traveling together, Rebelle denies these claims, saying he’s “like a brother” to her.
