Shelton Benjamin dedicated his WrestleMania performance to his late father

On Sunday morning, Shelton Benjamin revealed on Instagram that his father had passed away the night prior. Shelton thanked his father for the lessons he had taught him and then went on to dedicate his performance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to him, Benjamin's first WrestleMania match in eight years. 

 

Tonight is Dedicated my Father who I lost yesterday. My dad was not a big guy but had an inner strength that I could not appreciate until I was older. He shaped my life and I thank him for all he has done for our Family. Miss you Pops. Love you always
