Roman Reigns makes in-ring return at WWE Live Event on Saturday night
WILDWOOD, N.J. — One night after his surprise return in Newark, Del., to confront both of his opponents this Sunday at WWE Battleground — WWE Champion Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins — Roman Reigns once again reemerged on Saturday in Wildwood, N.J., this time for his official return to in-ring action against Kevin Owens.
Reigns took on Owens in a hardly fought contest that swept up the WWE Universe on the Jersey shore. Showing no loss in fervor, Reigns went at KO with intensity and ultimately picked up the victory.
Following the contest, Reigns, feeling the momentum of the victory, addressed WWE cameras backstage with a very concise message — he hopes Ambrose and Rollins are ready for WWE Battleground.
The Big Dog is back and is as focused as ever. But will that focus result in Reigns regaining the WWE Title against WWE Champion Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat Match? Find out tonight at WWE Battleground, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the award-winning WWE Network.
