Mustafa Ali wants to portray Disney’s Aladdin
Disney is reportedly having trouble finding an actor for the titular role in its live-action adaptation of “Aladdin,” and Mustafa Ali thinks he knows the right man for the job – himself!
Responding to a report by the Hollywood Reporter that details the troubled casting process, the high-flying Cruiserweight tweeted a simple “Ahem,” which prompted the WWE Universe to get behind the idea of Ali finding the Genie’s lamp. The movement caught fire and was soon made its way into the official Twitter Moments feed.

This isn’t Ali’s first mention or run-in with Aladdin. Earlier in July, he tweeted a photo of he and his wife attending the Broadway production of the Disney classic, noting that the love story of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine was inspired by them.

What do you think? Does Mustafa Ali have what it takes to roam the streets of Agrabah as, appropriately enough, Prince Ali.
