Mr. McMahon’s tribute to the Tyrannosaurus rex
National Fossil Day was established in 2010 to promote public awareness, and celebrate the science and history behind the remnants of a lost world. Fossils can carry different meanings for people, and WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is no different.
Anyone lucky enough to enter Mr. McMahon’s office at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Conn., has seen up close the Tyrannosaurus rex fossil that The Chairman keeps on his wall.
In 2013, Mr. McMahon even tweeted a photo of the massive wall décor.
It's on my wall and symbolic of my voracious appetite for life. pic.twitter.com/AuitV4M31C

The dinosaur skull — named Stan T. Rex – was a gift from Mr. McMahon’s son-in-law, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative. During filming of WWE Studios’ “The Chaperone,” The Game was so impressed with the fossils used during the movie’s museum scene that he bought one for The Chairman.
