“Ferdinand” scores two Golden Globes nominations, John Cena responds

“Ferdinand,” the animated comedy that stars John Cena as a talking bull, doesn’t open until this Friday, but it’s already gotten some awards-season props.
The 20th Century Fox/Blue Sky Studios feature, which also stars Kate McKinnon, Bobby Cannavale, Daveed Diggs, Peyton Manning, Anthony Anderson and Gina Rodriguez, notched a pair of nominations for the upcoming 75th annual Golden Globes Awards: Best Animated Motion Picture and Best Original Song (for “Home” by Nick Jonas). The 16-time World Champion was quick to comment on the former nomination on Twitter once the news broke.
Honored and grateful for #GoldenGlobes nomination of @FerdinandMovie...The story of a BIG Bull with a BIG message of being yourself and being PROUD of who you are.
