The legendary WrestleMania III clash between WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant will be recognized as the WWE Immortal Moment Award during the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony in Las Vegas.
Joining last year’s inaugural moment, Bret Hart and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin's bout from WrestleMania 13, the award honors the iconic moment from WrestleMania III where The Hulkster slammed The 8th Wonder of the World in front of nearly 100,000 people inside the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan.
With WWE Hall of Famers Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse “The Body” Ventura calling the action at ringside and Bob Uecker serving as the special guest ring announcer, the match saw Hogan retain the WWE Championship against Andre in an unforgettable clash, setting the standard for WrestleMania main events in the three decades that followed.
Hogan and Andre's Immortal Moment joins the rest of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026, headlined by Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition, Dennis Rodman, as well as Legacy inductees Sid and Bad News Brown.
The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony will air live immediately following SmackDown on April 17.
