Tegan Nox, Mia Yim & Shotzi Blackheart def. Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez

Superstars take to the sky in Six-Woman Tag Team action: NXT TakeOver: In Your House (WWE Network exclusive)

Shotzi Blackheart, Mia Yim, Candice LeRae and Tegan Nox soar above a chaotic Six-Woman Tag Team Match. Catch WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

NXT TakeOver: In Your House kicked off with a wild Six-Woman Tag Team battle that saw several heated rivalries intersect. Raquel Gonzalez asserted her dominance early in the match, overpowering the opposing team and taking control for her squad. Gonzalez used her considerable size advantage throughout the bout, even catching Shotzi Blackheart out of mid-air on an attempted dive and ruthlessly tossing her to the arena floor.

LeRae, Kai & Gonzalez isolated Blackheart, but the fiery Superstar persevered, fighting back to her corner, tagging in Yim and giving The HBIC a chance to finally get her hands on LeRae. However, the two bitter rivals’ fury could not be contained, as they brawled to the backstage area, essentially turning this into a two-on-two match. Blackheart & Nox turned the tables on Gonzalez, joining forces to take out Kai’s towering muscle. Then, Nox clobbered her bitter rival with the Shiniest Wizard to pin Kai and pick up the victory as TakeOver got off to a thrilling start.

Finn Bálor def. Damian Priest

Finn Bálor and Damian Priest go back and forth: NXT TakeOver: In Your House (WWE Network Exclusive)

The Prince and The Archer of Infamy keep one-upping each other in a seesaw battle. Catch WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

Damian Priest is seeking to live forever, but Finn Bálor showed the man that viciously attacked him in the locker room several weeks ago that infamy would not come at The Prince’s expense.

Bálor attacked Priest before the bell, sending Priest to the floor with a surprise dropkick. However, The Archer of Infamy rebounded by using his power to slow down Bálor before The Prince could gain any steam. Priest did everything he could to pummel Bálor into submission, even hurling The Prince into the ring apron back-first with a crucifix powerbomb.

Priest tried to replicate that success later in the bout, but this time from the ring apron onto the steel ring steps. Bálor slipped out of Priest’s clutches and kicked him off the apron, sending The Archer of Infamy crashing into the unforgiving steel himself. Bálor connected with a double stomp to the back and then the Coup de Grace to earn the victory and pick up his 11th TakeOver win – the most in NXT history.

Once again, Bálor proved that if you’re going to come after The Prince, you best not miss. That begs the question: Who will step up to the plate next?

NXT North American Champion Keith Lee def. Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano can’t escape Keith Lee: NXT TakeOver: In Your House (WWE Network Exclusive)

There’s no respite for Johnny Gargano against The Limitless Superstar. Catch WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

Johnny Gargano may have had the keys to the house and the thermostat set at a nice temperature, but there was nothing stopping Keith Lee from walking in, slamming Johnny Wrestling’s face into the front door and walking out with the NXT North American Championship.

Johnny Gargano had two clear targets: the champion’s injured left hand and the eye that Gargano damaged this past Wednesday when he attacked Lee with a set of car keys. Lee used his size and strength to his advantage early in the bout, even chasing down Gargano as he tried to escape through the door of the In Your House set. But Gargano went to work on the champion’s injuries to dictate the pace of the battle. Every time it looked like Lee was getting the upper hand, Johnny Wrestling went right after The Limitless One’s injured hand.

But despite Gargano’s best efforts, there was no stopping the NXT North American Champion. As the bout spilled out to the arena floor, Lee unleashed a vicious body check on the challenger that sent him crashing through the plexiglass boards. As Lee turned the tables on Gargano, Candice LeRae arrived to try to help her husband, but she was quickly stopped in her tracks by Mia Yim, who was once again ready to throw hands. After that, Gargano went back to the eyes, this time going after Lee’s other eye with a key. But that wasn’t enough to win the title, as Lee powered through and hit a Spirit Bomb, a powerbomb and the Big Bang Catastrophe to remain NXT North American Champion.

NXT Champion Adam Cole def. The Velveteen Dream (Backlot Brawl)

Velveteen Dream sends Adam Cole into a windshield: NXT TakeOver: In Your House (WWE Network Exclusive)

Just as backup arrives in the form of The Undisputed ERA, the NXT Champion suffers a crash landing during a wild Backlot Brawl. Catch WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

The Backlot Brawl between NXT Champion Adam Cole and The Velveteen Dream saw the biggest spotlight possible shined on this bitter rivalry. After a wild brawl, however, Dream can no longer challenge for the title as long as Cole is champion.

With a ring set up in the middle of the lot, surrounded by cars, Cole arrived in a monster truck adorned in The Undisputed ERA’s colors, while Dream made his entrance in style, behind the wheel of a yellow Lamborghini. Anything and everything was on the table for this brawl. The only rule was that it had to end inside the ring. And with that, the fight was on, going around the backlot as both Superstars used everything at their disposal to batter the other. Cole tried to escape in a nearby car, but Dream was waiting to stop him, bashing the vehicle with a baseball bat. The brawl even spilled into an Uber that arrived at the most inopportune time.

The fight made its way to the top of a ladder, where Dream knocked Cole off. The NXT Champion’s landing was not a pleasant one, as he crashed through the windshield of a nearby car. But Cole had backup, as Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish arrived and unloaded a bunch of chairs from Cole’s monster truck. Before they could use any of them, Dexter Lumis slithered out from under the ring and bashed Strong and Fish, then tossed them into the trunk of his car and sped off, a unique case of life imitating the art he created last Wednesday on NXT.

With Cole’s associates out of the picture, the fight looked to be turning in Velveteen Dream’s favor, as he connected with a Dream Valley Driver and a Purple Rainmaker into the chairs. However, His Purple Highness took just a little too long letting Cole know that his era was over. The NXT Champion took advantage of the situation, uppercutting Dream with a low blow and connecting with a Panama Sunrise into the chairs to ensure his record-breaking reign as NXT Champion will continue. Cole declared that he is the greatest and that no one will be able to take the NXT Championship from him. Will time prove him right?

Karrion Kross def. Tommaso Ciampa

Karrion Kross dismantles Tommaso Ciampa with precision: NXT TakeOver: In Your House (WWE Network Exclusive)

Targeting Tommaso Ciampa’s surgically repaired neck, Karrion Kross slams The Blackheart on the ring apron. Catch WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

Tommaso Ciampa has proven himself to be one of NXT’s most intense and dangerous competitors. But NXT may have been introduced to someone who is even more ruthless than The Blackheart. Karrion Kross bulldozed over Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: In Your House in a battle that shocked the NXT Universe.

Ciampa went right after Kross at the bell, clobbering his foe with a flurry of forearms, but they seemingly had no effect on the newcomer. From there, Kross went on a tear, unleashing his fury on the former NXT Champion as the match spilled to the arena floor. Kross tossed Ciampa around the ring with ease, driving him into the canvas with a series of suplexes that echoed through the arena. Ciampa fought back, unleashing his own strikes on Kross, then Willow’s Belle. But when Ciampa went for the Fairytale Ending, Kross muscled his way out and planted Ciampa to the canvas before locking on the Kross Jacket. Ciampa passed out in the hold, giving Kross his first TakeOver victory.

Karrion Kross & Scarlett made a major statement at NXT TakeOver: In Your House. Can anyone stop this devastating competitor, or is the end truly here for the black-and-gold brand?

Io Shirai def. Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair to become new NXT Women's Champion

Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai’s war turns wild: NXT TakeOver: In Your House (WWE Network Exclusive)

The Triple Threat NXT Women’s Championship Match turns into an all-out melee on the outside of the ring. Catch WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

The Genius of The Sky has dethroned The Queen.

At the conclusion of a thrilling NXT Women’s Championship Match at TakeOver: In Your House, Io Shirai stood tall with the title after defeating Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley.

When the bout began, though, Flair asserted her dominance, using her size advantage to muscle into control of the bout. The Queen tossed Ripley into the plexiglass at ringside before Shirai caught her with a hurricanrana from the ring apron. But back in the ring, Flair once again took control, this time nearly forcing Shirai to submit to a Boston Crab. From there, all three competitors took turns unloading on each other, throwing everything they had at each other in pursuit of the NXT Women’s Championship. However, it seemed Shirai might be one step ahead of the competition.

Flair put a stop to that temporarily, hurling The Genius of The Sky through the window of the In Your House set, then turning her attention to Ripley. The Queen and The Nightmare brawled as the bout progressed, but that gave Shirai time to recover and scale the house. Shirai then took flight, diving off the roof and crashing into her foes on the ground.

But the path to the title would not be easy for Shirai. Ripley nearly had the title wrapped up after connecting with a Riptide off the ropes, only for Shirai to break up the pinfall. Then, The Queen once again introduced a Kendo stick into the fray, cracking it over both of her challenger’s backs. Flair then locked the Figure Eight on Ripley, but Shirai caught The Queen off-guard, crushing Ripley with a moonsault for the three-count and the championship.

Streamers and confetti rained down from the ceiling in celebration of the new champion. It may have been a party for Shirai on this night, but the true test lies ahead for The Genius of The Sky, as she tries to remain NXT Women’s Champion.
