Golden State Warriors celebrate 2017 NBA Championship with custom WWE Title

Meet the “Ultimate Warriors.”

The Golden State Warriors went 16-1 in the playoffs, capping their nearly perfect postseason Monday with a 129-120 defeat of the Cleveland Cavaliers. To pay tribute to a group many are calling the best team ever, Triple H sent them a custom WWE Championship.

The Cavaliers had plenty of WWE support with The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Dana Brooke rooting for the team — and Ric Flair rooting for star LeBron James — but it wasn’t enough to upend Finals MVP Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and company. Mojo Rawley and The Usos showed their respect to Durant and the champions.

WWE has presented custom titles to the champions of MLB, the NBA, the NFL and the NHL over the last several years and recently extended the tribute to international league champions. But Triple H also sent a WWE Championship to the Warriors in 2015, meaning they join the 2017 Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins as the only franchises to receive multiple custom titles.

Congratulations to the Warriors on their amazing championship season.
