Lash Legend def. Fallon Henley via submission

Though she has spent a considerable amount of time berating her fellow Superstars on NXT 2.0 and 205 Live, Lash Legend is quickly proving that she can back up her words when the bell rings.

Legend, who draped her coat across the camera while making her entrance, received a difficult test in the form of Fallon Henley, who shook off her size disadvantage to stagger Legend with a couple of elbow strikes and a kick to the face, much to the delight of the WWE Universe.

Legend shook off the onslaught by catching her opponent and applying extreme pressure to Henley’s back with an excruciating submission hold that forced a tapout.

Draco Anthony def. Javier Bernal

Draco Anthony came within an eyelash of his first career win when he tangled with Malik Blade two weeks ago, and the athletic competitor appeared determined not to let history repeat itself against the debuting Javier Bernal.

Bernal didn’t have the look of a Superstar competing in his first match, as he smirked and sauntered his way to the squared circle and took the upper hand with a flurry of stiff uppercuts, a dropkick and a crossbody.

Anthony nevertheless dodged his hard-charging opponent and achieved some incredible hangtime while driving his leg into Bernal’s throat for the 1-2-3.

James Drake def. Bodhi Hayward

Grinning from ear to ear and bounding around the ring like a kid on Christmas morning prior to his match against James Drake, the enthusiastic Bodhi Hayward sought a critical win as he and his teacher Andre Chase prepared for next week’s First-Round Dusty Classic Match against The Grizzled Young Veterans.

Prior to the bell, Chase promised a statement-making performance from his top student, and Hayward looked primed to deliver when he slammed Drake with a back suplex, hit a couple of three-point stance tackles and clotheslined him out of the ring.

Drake, however, used his veteran knowhow to tee himself up for a timely assist from Zack Gibson, who grabbed Hayward’s foot from ringside. The distraction allowed Drake to send his foe crashing into the turnbuckles with a vicious dropkick that gave his team a big win heading into the Dusty Cup.
