Today was the craziest day of them all. Since we spent all of yesterday on the base, we were scheduled to venture out & visit some some troops on other stations outside the main base.

Hello, my friends. After a 22-hour flight from Charleston, S.C. all the way to Iraq we finally made it! We had a few setbacks due to the fact we needed fuel, so we stopped in Northern Canada and Germany, which, by the way, is where they took all the “adult beverages.” Boooo! Party foul.

After much anticipation, I am about to leave for the Tribute to the Troops tour in Iraq. I have to admit I am a little nervous, but my excitement surpasses any reservations I have.
