As the dust cleared, WWE Official Adam Pearce declared that, although WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon had expressed confidence in Theory's psychological tactics on Raw, he wanted to see a fair fight between them, and that match would happen for the U.S. Title at WWE Hell in a Cell on Sunday.

Before AJ Styles, Finn Bálor & Liv Morgan’s Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match against The Judgment Day at WWE Hell in a Cell, The Phenomenal One neutralized an interfering Damian Priest outside the ring and paved the way for Liv to overcome her former friend The Nightmare with the Backstabber.

Then, when order completely broke down after the matchup, Styles fought back from a Priest attack. With the help of an emerging Bálor, Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm on his attacker. Liv then hit Ripley with a dropkick off the top rope, and Bálor finished things off with the Coup de Grâce on Priest.

When The Nigerian Giant set up a table to put Lashley through, however, the former WWE Champion turned the tables and Speared his enormous foe through it.
