The Story of Edge: Available April 3rd

WWE.com spoke with 2012 WWE Hall of Fame Inductee and legendary Superstar Edge and discussed the upcoming release “You Think You Know Me? The Story of Edge,” available on DVD and Blu-ray now.

WWE.com: How does it feel knowing that your entire life - professionally and personally - is going to be summed up in just two hours?

EDGE: That’s the thing I had to get used to. Like acting, you have to realize that it’s out there, it’s in somebody else’s control. It's not like WWE where it's instantaneous and it's live and there's no changing it. You just trust the vision of who’s directing and producing.

WWE.com: It covers your entire career, including the earlier parts like those Northern tours in Canada. How bad were those tours?

EDGE: They were horrible. I cannot tell a lie. They were brutal and freezing. You have no idea what cold is until you hit minus 72 celsius. There's nothing that can prepare you for that. But at the same time, they’re so much fun. We learned so much, got experience in front of crowds and made enough money to get back home. We took some seriously stupid risks, but looking back, I have no regrets at all.

WWE.com: What would you say is your favorite period of your entire wrestling career?

EDGE: I compartmentalize it into two periods, one tag teaming with Christian and one with my singles career. Everything I did with Christian, I absolutely love. If I’m honest, that’s what I would go back and watch, just because I want to laugh. So many of those things we did with Mick (Foley) and (Kurt) Angle were so much fun, and I forget half of them. We were just doing idiotic stuff. We had so much fun.

WWE.com: If you had to pick a favorite opponent, who would it be?

EDGE: It’s tough, but I've got to say Undertaker. With Undertaker and I, we only had one singles match leading up to WrestleMania XXIV, and we realized we had something. We knew going into WrestleMania it was going to be cool. And it was.

WWE.com: After WWE fans watch this video, what do you want them to know most about Edge?

EDGE: Maybe this can show them truer to what I’m really like. Not having to put on a character and being able to just say, "This is me, this is how I am." A lot of my history has been chronicled before in books, articles and interviews , but to get it straight from the horse’s mouth will make it a different experience for people.
