Ziggler, Charlotte bowled over by Indian cricket legend Virender Sehwag
With WWE’s Superstars in India for two Live Events this weekend at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, WWE Divas Champion Charlotte and Dolph Ziggler took time out to enjoy an introduction to the country’s national sport of cricket Friday, courtesy of legendary Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag.

Assisted by his two children, Aryavir and Vedant, Sehwag shared the techniques of batting, bowling and catching with his eager WWE pupils. Both Charlotte and The Showoff got to experience batting against the former right-arm off-spinner. They also had the chance to bowl at Sehwag; fortunately, he resisted showing his legendary aggressive approach of smashing the ball over the boundary.
Both Ziggler and Charlotte showed plenty of promise as up-and-coming cricketers, having played baseball and softball respectively to a high standard in the USA.

“That was an awesome experience,” Ziggler said. “We’re grateful to Virender for giving us our first taste of playing cricket.”
