Natalya made her presence felt on SmackDown when she came to the aid of fellow Diva Victoria. Natalya was introduced as "Victoria's new best friend."

Natalya is the only third generation Diva to compete in WWE. She comes from a long line of WWE greats including her father Jim Neidhart and her uncle, Bret "Hit Man" Hart. Her cousin, DH Smith, is on Raw.
