One of the hallmarks of WWE’s fall classic — the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match — will take place this Sunday, live on WWE Network at Survivor Series, WWE.com has learned. The match participants are not yet known at this juncture.

A staple of Survivor Series since the inaugural event in 1987, the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match is the ultimate battle of survival. Superstars can be eliminated individually via pinfall, submission, count-out or disqualification, and once a competitor is ousted, he must abandon his teammates and return to the locker room. The bout can only end when an entire team has been eliminated.

With the semifinals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament now set, the WWE Universe is left to wonder which 10 Superstars will forge alliances and enter Atlanta’s Philips Arena to compete in Survivor Series’ namesake match.
