Lilian Garcia brings Diva flair to her music video debut

Lilian Garcia had the WWE Universe buzzing over her return to WWE programming, but it wasn’t the only recent milestone for the longtime Diva.

In the same week Lilian received a great ovation from the WWE Universe in her premiere as SmackDown’s new ring announcer, she debuted a music video for "U Drive Me Loca," the first song off her new album. You can watch the music video here and the track is also available for download now on iTunes.

Garcia included a "special surprise" for keen WWE viewers in the music video, directed by Alex Chavira. Alumni Divas Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle make cameos in the video, which tells the story of a woman played by Lilian and her infatuation with a guy she can’t get out of her head.

"The majority of the song is English, the whole album is, but I throw in a little Spanish like 'loca' instead of 'crazy,'" the bilingual Diva explained. "It's about a guy driving me so crazy that I’m actually insane."

She co-wrote the song with Grammy-nominated producer Oh, Hush!, who collaborated with Cee Lo Green on "What Part of Forever" for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" soundtrack. And playing Garcia’s love interest in the video is MTV personality Kenny Santucci. Viewers may remember Santucci from the reality show, "The Challenge."

"We shot the video in Venice Beach. That was really cool, and dodging the people was fun. Just playing around on the beach a lot. Another day we were in an insane asylum the whole time filming, and that was fun actually," Garcia admitted with a laugh.

Not every part of the shoot was all fun for Lilian, though. Oddly enough, she ended up with a sinus infection because of a scene where she rips up a goose-down pillow. Turns out she’s allergic to feathers.

"I've never seen so many feathers in my life because they went flying everywhere," Garcia said. "They were up my nose, in my throat, in my hair, just everywhere. It was crazy!"

Garcia thought the scene looked great and she was glad it was part of the video, despite the infection.

While the songstress kept us guessing as to exactly when the entire album drops, she said WWE fans should definitely keep their eyes peeled for the release in 2012. And one of the other singles, "Ur Girl ('Til the End of the World)" will be familiar to anyone who tunes into SmackDown. It’s her new WWE entrance theme song, too.
