Who is La Luchadora? WWE.com lines up five possible suspects

¿Quién es La Luchadora?
That is the question that has plagued the SmackDown LIVE Women’s division for weeks since the masked Superstar — originally an alter-ego that Becky Lynch used to surprise Alexa Bliss — suddenly became a full-fledged individual hell-bent on ruining The Irish Lass Kicker’s life. Ostensibly an ally of Bliss in her quest to keep the SmackDown Women’s Title from Maiden Ireland, it’s becoming clear that La Luchadora isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, so WWE.com’s editors put on their detective hats to get to the bottom of La Luchadora’s identity.
Eva Marie
Not gonna lie, this is suspect numero uno for the amateur detectives of Stamford, Conn. The Red Queen hasn’t beguiled or entranced this or any other arena since last August, when a series of questionable circumstances continued to delay her debut against — you guessed it — Becky Lynch. Of course, she has been off shooting a movie lately, but if The Rock can pull double-duty, surely All Red Everything can find her way through a traffic jam or two.
Beth Phoenix
¡La Glamazon! The most physically imposing Superstar of the defunct Divas division retired some years ago and, to hear her tell it, hasn’t looked back since she started a family with WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Yet, with several veterans of the aughts making a comeback run on Team Blue — Rhyno, The Spirit Squad, Curt Hawkins — it’s not too big of a stretch for the former Divas Champion to make one last go in the kind of Women’s division she would have dominated all along.
Mandy Rose
Our under-the-radar, dark-horse pick. The WWE Universe hasn’t see too much of Mandy Rose outside of WWE Tough Enough and Total Divas, but she has been making strides in Alexa Bliss’ old stomping grounds of WWE NXT ever since. If WWE’s Wicked Witch needed a “little pretty” to aid and abet her chicanery, there are worse places for her to raid talent than Full Sail University, and there are few better options than a Superstar whom no one has any idea how to plan for yet.
Vickie Guerrero
OK, so this one is as unlikely as they come. However, Vickie Guerrero’s finest hour came during her power-hungry reign as SmackDown General Manager a few years back, and she was roughly denied another stint in the manager’s chair during the lead-up to the WWE Draft. By inserting herself into the in-ring action, Vickie could be searching for a foothold on Team Blue that may well parlay itself into a managerial position down the line. We’re pretty sure SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon might give her a leg up just for this.

Summer Rae
¿Dónde está Summer Rae? The salacious Superstar has been responsible for some of the most controversial moments in recent Raw memory, yet there has been barely a peep from her in the post-Draft Women’s division this past, erm, summer. With Raw’s NXT veterans batting each other and Alicia Fox tangled up in the drama of 205 Live, it’s entirely possible that Summer sought a change of scenery in the greener grass of Team Blue.
Only time will tell until the mask is removed, of course, but it’s safe to say that no one can tell where and when La Luchadora will strike next. In other words, whatever will be, will be.
