Arena Report - Tulsa Convention Center

For the first time in over two years, SmackDown comes to the Tulsa Convention Center in Tulsa, OK. The last time SmackDown Superstars came to Tulsa was on Sept. 9, 2004 when World Heavyweight Champion JBL buried Charlie Haas with his trademark Clothesline From Hell. Rey Mysterio also saw action that night as the Cruiserweight Champion.

On Dec. 26, 2002, Chris Benoit became No. 1 Contender to the WWE Championship when he reversed Big Show's chokeslam at the Tulsa Convention Center. He would go on to challenge Kurt Angle for the gold at Royal Rumble.
