SEATTLE -- The Road to WrestleMania took an explosive turn on SmackDown as World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho finally countered Edge's Spear, The Straight Edge Society crossed family lines, Unified Tag Team Champion adversaries battled for momentum and Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre found his way to Money in the Bank.

When Jericho tried to launch his WrestleMania No. 1 Contender Edge into the Jeritron 6000 during the climax of the "Highlight Reel," The Rated-R Superstar countered with an earth-shattering DDT. However, as The Ultimate Opportunist tried to follow up his assault with the Spear, the six-time World Champion nailed him with the World Title. Jericho then mocked The 2010 Royal Rumble winner, chanting "spear … spear … spear!"

The Straight Edge Society torments Rey Mysterio's family (PHOTOS | WATCH)
As the WWE Universe celebrated the ninth birthday of Rey Mysterio's daughter with the entire Mysterio family present, The Straight Edge Society interrupted. The Master of the 619 voiced no answer when The Second City Saint challenged him to a WrestleMania Match, nor would Mysterio battle him in front of his family. Punk responded by verbally tormenting Mysterio's wife and children. Despite his continued taunts, Mysterio escorted his family away without dishing out a single blow.

Kane def. Luke Gallows by disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Just when it looked as if The Big Red Monster would overcome Gallows, CM Punk attacked, causing his disciple to be disqualified before delivering a post-match GTS on Kane. But, before he could celebrate, Rey Mysterio returned to the ring, inciting a brawl with Punk that spilled over into the crowd.

R-Truth def. Unified Tag Team and United States Champion The Miz (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Five days after John Morrison & R-Truth's aggressive no-contest battle with their WrestleMania opponents Show-Miz on Monday Night Raw, Truth defeated the "Awesome One" in singles competition with the Lie Detector. Although The Miz put his feet on the ropes while trying to pin the rapping Superstar, his own NXT Rookie Daniel Bryan pushed them off, paving the way for Truth's triumph.

Later, in act II of the brutal clashes between the impending WrestleMania Unified Tag Team adversaries, The World's Largest Athlete reigned supreme. As The Guru of Greatness was leaping off the ropes, Big Show blasted him with a knockout blow to cement the victory.

Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre def. local athlete in a Winner Take All Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Having his back-to-back losses "expunged and eradicated" by Mr. McMahon, the "undefeated" Drew McIntyre used the Future Shock to defeat a local athlete, "handpicked" by The Chairman. Unaffected by SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long's Winner Take All Match stipulation -- which put both McIntyre's title and his WrestleMania hopes on the line -- "The Chosen One" finally qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Before a tag team winner could be determined, The Undertaker appeared from the darkness to crash the party. The Phenom utilized all of his infamous finishers to lay the four competing Superstars to waste, hitting a chokeslam on Shad, the Last Ride on Tyson Kidd, the Tombstone on David Hart Smith, and Hell's Gate on JTG.

Tiffany def. Women's Champion Michelle McCool by disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH)
SmackDown's Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero welcomed former ECW General Manager Tiffany to Friday nights with a non-title match against Michelle McCool. SmackDown's newest Diva put up an impressive showing against the champion, only to be attacked by Guerrero herself.

However, when Guerrero and Team Lay-Cool ganged up on Tiffany after the bell, Beth Phoenix emerged to even the odds. After clearing the ring of both Michelle and Layla, The Glamazon laid out SmackDown's Official Consultant with a powerful clothesline.
