Samoa Joe delivers chilling message after injuring Seth Rollins

Brutal unseen footage of Samoa Joe's Raw debut: WWE.com Exclusive, Jan. 31, 2017

Relive Samoa Joe's vicious assault on Seth Rollins with this slow-motion footage, captured during the Jan. 30, 2017, edition of Raw.

Samoa Joe’s attack on Seth Rollins reminded the WWE Universe that Triple H always has a “Plan B,” and that when you’re goaded into a face-to-face confrontation with The King of Kings, you’d best keep your head on a swivel.

Shortly after WWE.com confirmed that the attack reinjured Rollins’ right knee — which was surgically repaired in fall 2015 and caused the former WWE Champion to miss last year’s WrestleMania — Joe not only showed no remorse for his actions, but actually hinted via Twitter that he was specifically instructed to damage The Architect’s knee and put Rollins on the shelf.

Appropriately enough, Joe has rechristened himself as “The Destroyer” on the social media platform, alluding to the Creator/Destroyer dichotomy that Triple H has brought forward recently in reference to his dual role as both the mind behind WWE NXT and the ruthless Cerebral Assassin. It’s pretty clear which side of The Game’s personality has taken over this week, and which instrument he’s chosen to deconstruct The Architect.
