He's so money!
TORONTO -- As the saying goes, "Like father, like son."
Mr. McMahon can only hope that saying holds true this Sunday at One Night Stand.
Shane McMahon made good on his promise to lead by example, pinning the former ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley to the mat Monday night on Raw.
Shane did so just one week before his father, Mr. McMahon, meets Lashley in a Street Fight at One Night Stand to defend the boss' ECW World Title.
The win has to give Team McMahon a huge boost of confidence going into Sunday's night of Extreme Rules, where anything can happen. It can be assured that the McMahons will do anything to hang onto the prestigious title -- which is presumably made easier in Sunday's no disqualification, anything goes matchup.
Teamed with two gargantuan partners -- The Great Khali and Umaga -- Shane O'Mac was able to score the pinfall on Lashley as his teammates incapacitated Lashley's partner, WWE Champion John Cena, in a 2-on-3 Handicap Match.
"Bobby Lashley, I'm going to beat you so bad, you'll be calling me honey. Because you're going to find out first hand why they call me ‘The Money,' " the younger McMahon promised the fans at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
And Shane was true to his word. He didn't duck from Lashley, wearing down the former champion in the ring.
After Umaga disposed of Cena at ringside with a Samoan Spike, Khali chokeslammed Lashley to the mat. Sensing the opportunity, Shane flew off the top rope with an elbow, crashing down on Lashley's chest, scoring the pinfall.
As Shane celebrated the win, he was met by his father, Mr. McMahon, who gave him a proud hug, raising his son's hand in victory with his teammates.
Will the father be able to follow in his son's footsteps? Can Mr. McMahon pin Bobby Lashley Sunday at One Night Stand as The Chairman goes one-on-one, man-to-McMahon with the former champion in a Street Fight for the ECW World Title?
