The New Face of Fear discusses the dangers of adoration.

Once again, Bray Wyatt has been making a series of mysterious messages aimed at an unknown prey. Considering the chilling results that this sort of ominous communication has forged in the past – most recently a WrestleMania showdown against The Undertaker – the WWE Universe is clamoring to know: just who is The New Face of Fear addressing this time?

Wyatt talks of targeting an individual who loves something or someone a great deal and how that love could become a weakness. But which is it: “something” or “someone”?

Could the “something” be a highly coveted championship, perhaps Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Title? Could he be speaking of an adversary who not only possesses championship gold, but also a special “someone” – perhaps a love spotlighted on E!’s hit TV show “ Total Divas”? That would put the likes of past rivals Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan and United States Champion John Cena back in play – both for their relationships with Brie and Nikki Bella and their current title reigns.

What if Wyatt is targeting WWE itself? One must not overlook Wyatt’s indication that his target is in danger of losing everything they had worked so hard for, and such loss may not be limited to championships and significant others. He presents the chilling question, “What will [he] do what the one thing [he] loves, that one thing that [he] can’t live without, is taken from [him]?”

Recently, while preparing for the his match against Sting at The Show of Shows, WWE COO Triple H opened up about his tremendous love for the business, second only to the love of his wife and kids. Could Wyatt have smelled blood in the water and is now actually ready to go after the entire WWE? If that’s true, could he be targeting not just The Game, but the entire McMahon Family?

Then again, could Wyatt be talking about taking away the love of the WWE Universe? If so, any Superstars – past or present – who have drawn strength from the WWE fans could become the subject of his obsession. It could be current Superstars such as Ryback or Dolph Ziggler, or even icons like Hulk Hogan or The Rock.

The Eater of Worlds is posed to strike at the heart of love itself. The only question is, who’s heart is about to suffer horrific heartache?
