WWE 2K17 roster continues to grow in latest Suplex City Census update

WWE’s Apex Predator will officially be on the prowl in WWE 2K17.

In the second round of Suplex City Census results, 2K confirmed Randy Orton is among the 22 latest Superstars set to join the WWE 2K17 playable roster. The presence of The Viper adds extra star power in 2K’s latest roster update, which also includes five WWE Hall of Famers among its ranks.

The Superstars joining the WWE 2K17 roster includes:

  • Baron Corbin
  • Big E
  • Billy Gunn
  • Braun Strowman
  • Bret Hart
  • British Bulldog
  • Cesaro
  • Charlotte
  • Daniel Bryan
  • Edge
  • Finn Bálor
  • Hideo Itami
  • Jake Roberts
  • Kalisto
  • Randy Orton
  • Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat
  • Sin Cara
  • The Rock
  • Triple H
  • Tyson Kidd

These 22 new playable characters join a WWE 2K17 roster that also includes NXT competitors and Goldberg as a pre-order bonus character. Moreover, they will appear in a WWE video game whose in-game soundtrack will be personally curated by hip hop mogul Puff Daddy.

2K revealed the new roster additions by unveiling a new section of its Suplex City map, this time featuring a dystopian urban park within Brock Lesnar’s favorite locale. The latest Suplex City Census represents each of this week’s 22 roster additions with a symbol representing the newly-added Superstar or WWE Legend.

WWE 2K17 is not yet rated by the ESRB, and is currently scheduled for worldwide release on Oct. 11, 2016, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
