For weeks, Zack Ryder and Adam Rose have engaged in a heated war of words on Twitter in between recent battles on “WWE Superstars,” where Ryder claimed victory on both occasions. Now, both Superstars are laser-focused on eliminating each other in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania and as their pre-’Mania social media spat erupted further, TV icon and former Raw guest star William Shatner stepped into the fold (not to mention Mr. Belding, Dennis Haskins!).
Seeing the Twitter tirades, Shatner tried to get to the bottom of it all and mediate the situation before offering himself up as the special guest referee of their next match! Ryder and Rose are both fans of Shatner and the original Captain Kirk is a friend of WWE. Will we see Shatner beamed back into the squared circle for a one-on-one between Broski and Rose Bud leader?
