On an edition of the Funeral Parlor, Hollywood Hogan was brutally attacked by Undertaker and Ric Flair. That attack led to a WWE Championship match at Survivor Series for the undefeated Undertaker. The Phenom had been climbing up the singles ladder since his debut, and now he had a shot at the title. During the match, Ric Flair came down and tried to steal the WWE Championship. Hogan shooed him away, but Paul Bearer distracted the referee. Flair threw a steel chair into the ring and Undertaker delivered a Tombstone onto the chair for the win. The two would meet again less than a week later at Tuesday in Texas.
