WWE.com, in conjunction with The Academy of Wrestling Arts & Sciences (AWAS), ranks the Top 25 Superstars in wrestling each week with POWER 25. The rankings are based on victories, quality of opponents, momentum and overall in-ring dominance, as well as intangibles. Be sure to check back every Saturday for the latest POWER 25. Here are the rankings for May 3:

This Week Movement Superstar Last Week
1

UNDERTAKER (11)

Undertaker still proves to be dominant, but now is no longer World Heavyweight Champion thanks to SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero. We really don't think it's a good idea to anger The Deadman, do you?

1
2

TRIPLE H (8)

The King of Kings is back on top of Raw as the new WWE Champion. Though Raw GM William Regal pulled the plug on his title defense on Raw, we still have to give it to The Game for his win at Backlash.

3
3

SHAWN MICHAELS

The Heartbreak Kid wins at Backlash and receives an award on Raw. Well, he may not have really appreciated the award, but we are curious to see if he is deserving of the honors.

6
4

RANDY ORTON

The Age of Orton has come to an end, at least for now. We know that the Steel Cage Match designated for Judgment Day between him and Triple H gives Orton another chance to reinstate his dynasty.

2
5

CM PUNK

Mr. Money in the Bank put thoughts into our heads at Backlash, but it proved to be just a tease. He did pick up a victory over Chuck Palumbo on SmackDown even though it came via disqualification.

5
6

KANE

Kane proved that the 9 second win at WrestleMania was no fluke. Chavo keeps stacking the deck as best he can, but that doesn't seem to have deterred The Big Red Champion just yet.

9
7

EDGE

The Ultimate Opportunist has definitely taught us a lesson. If you can't take down The Undertaker yourself, then get engaged to the person that can strip him of the title. Pure genius.

4
8

BATISTA

The Animal was still healing from his wounds come SmackDown and stayed out of action this week. He did send a message to Shawn Michaels though, and we hope that Michaels gets it for his own good.

7
9

CHAVO GUERRERO

The Mexican Warrior again fell to ECW Champion Kane at Backlash. He did gain some redemption on ECW, but did he really prove that much if he could only get a win with Bam Neely's help?

10
10

JOHN CENA

After being eliminated second in Backlash's Fatal Four Way Match, Cena was nowhere to be seen on Raw. We'd understand if he took this week off to have his head looked at after that hard punt from Randy Orton.

8
11

BIG SHOW

Big Show is proving to be the defender of the little man, ironically enough. The World's Largest Athlete took down The Great Khali at Backlash, and now seems to have his sights set on Mark Henry.

12
12

CHRIS JERICHO

Chris Jericho has been a lot of talk and no action lately. He's placed himself right in the middle of HBK and Batista's business, and he is definitely trying to stir up trouble.

11
13

MATT HARDY

Hardy won the United States Championship at Backlash, and successfully defended it again in a rematch against MVP on SmackDown ... proving that he is better than The Franchise Playa'.

19
14

KOFI KINGSTON

The Jamaican Superstar continues to go undefeated on ECW with another big win over Shelton Benjamin. Kofi beat Benjamin for the second week in a row, showing that he is serious competition.

17
15

BETH PHOENIX

Beth Phoenix may have lead her entourage of Divas to victory at Backlash, but was unable to hold the momentum through the next night as her team lost to Mickie James' group of beauties.

14
16

MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

The Ballin' Superstar must be happy that he's not heading into contract negotiations, because things wouldn't be looking too good. MVP lost the U.S. gold and his rematch, causing him to drop three spots.

13
17

JOHN MORRISON & THE MIZ

The WWE Tag Team Champions are finally back to their winning ways. The Dirt Sheet stars proved why they are the WWE Tag Team Champions with a successful title defense on SmackDown.

18
18

UMAGA

The Samoan Bulldozer must have been plotting his next move in the political race, because something had to have been keeping him from Raw. He drops three spots due to his absence.

15
19

VLADIMIR KOZLOV

The Russian Superstar picked up another win this week and moved up another spot. Armando Estrada seemed to enjoy Kozlov's victory, but we don't think Colin Delaney was too happy with it.

20
20

FINLAY

Finlay drops four spots this week following a win. That's what I'd call luck of the Irish. It's not his fault though, as he did what he loves and did it well. This just comes as a casualty of a very bizarre week.

16
21

WILLIAM REGAL

Ah, we're so happy to have the K...

I guess Regal must have pulled the plug on this too...

21
22

MIKE KNOX

Mike Knox is becoming a true force to be reckoned with on ECW. A win over ECW Original Tommy Dreamer makes us true believers of Knox and have us wondering if Kane should be worried.

NR
23

MICKIE JAMES

"Hey Mickie you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickie." After evening up the score between her and Beth Phoenix's entourages, the Women's Champion moves up a spot on the P25.

23
24

SHELTON BENJAMIN

ECW 's Gold Standard may drop to No. 24, but that doesn't stand for 24-karats. The value of gold is depreciating in our eyes with a second consecutive loss to the Jamaican Superstar, Kofi Kingston.

22
25

NATALYA

Natalya breaks onto the P25 this week as she continues to impress the Academy. A big win on SmackDown over Michelle McCool this week, and Natalya shows us that she's here to make a name for herself.

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING

"Undertaker isn't a champion anymore. Triple H is. The Game should be No. 1." - Jim
The Academy replies: Triple H is 12 times the King and that's why he's moved up, but Undertaker didn't exactly lose his title, either. It's a tough call, but he's still No. 1 this week.

"I'm happy to see Natalya on the P25. Get used to her; she's not coming off." - Bonnie
The Academy replies: She's taken the Divas division by storm with no signs of slowing down. If she keeps that up, yes, she will be around for a while on the P25.

"I just want to say to Shelton that if he's really the 'Gold Standard,' I think he should work on being higher than No. 24." - Marvin
The Academy replies: The Academy is not going to argue with that. He better figure out the way to beating Kofi Kingston or it's bye bye, P25!

FAREWELL

The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their position on the P25 this week:

John "Bradshaw" Layfield – JBL was the first one eliminated at Backlash and even his win over Highlander Robbie can't prevent us from sending JBL packing from the P25.

Carlito & Santino Marella – They may have gotten the last laugh over the World Tag Team Champions on Raw, but Santino did not get the win in his match against Cody Rhodes.

OTHERS EARNING VOTES

The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of the Academy:

London & Kendrick - London & Kendrick have had some good matches the last couple of weeks, and a big win over the former World Tag Team Champions has us looking in their direction.

Mark Henry - The World's Strongest Man returned to action this week with a decisive win over Nunzio. If Henry gets a few more wins, we're sure he'll make his way back onto the P25.
