Halle Berry has been nominated for a BET Award for her role in the WWE Studios movie, "The Call." The 2002 Academy Award Winner is up for Best Actress for playing the part of a 911 operator who takes a call from an abducted teenage girl in grave danger.
Berry starred in "The Call" alongside WWE Superstar David Otunga and Abagail Breslin. The action/thriller was released earlier this year by WWE Studios, Troika and Tri-Star.
The BET Awards will be held June 30 in Los Angeles' Nokia Theater at LA Live and airs on BET at 8/7 CT. Berry is nominated in the Best Actress category with Angela Bassett, Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union and Kerry Washington. The show is hosted by Chris Tucker.
