Go 'Ghost Hunt'-ing with The Miz this Halloween
The Miz is ready to get spooked this Halloween. ECW's self-proclaimed "chick magnet" will be a special guest on Sci Fi's Ghost Hunters' live, all-night Halloween episode, when the TAPS team returns to Fort Delaware, a haunted Civil War POW camp.
"On Friday night, it's going to be Halloween," said The Miz. "I'm going to be in a haunted place, and it's going to be dark, it's going to be one of the most fearful nights known to man. I'm going to be there, with these guys, who are trained professionals, to chase ghosts, to hunt ghosts. I'm hunting a ghost. I'm hunting Slimer!"
The ECW Superstar, an admitted horror fan, isn't sure what he'll do if he encounters one of the restless spirits of the almost 2,400 Confederate Civil War soldiers who never escaped the Fort Delaware island.
"I hope I don't make a fool out of myself like Elijah Burke did last year," The Miz laughed. "But honestly, I'm scared of things. If there's a ghost standing there right next to me, I don't know what I'll do. If I punch him, it'll go right through him, so I won't really know what to do." While many members of the WWE Universe may assume a Superstar like the The Miz would rather be partying at the Playboy Mansion this Halloween, think again.
"I would say I've been to the Playboy Mansion at least 10 times. I'm in double-digits now -- that's what we do," he explained. "So to have an opportunity to really be scared and do something I've never done before, I'd rather do that."
Tune in to Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi on Halloween night at 7/6 CT for the live, all-night, seven-hour investigation of Fort Delaware to see The Miz's spooky appearance.
Until then, the self-proclaimed "chick magnet" (or is that the soon-to-be ghost magnet?) leaves the WWE Universe with this: "I'm definitely excited to be on Ghost Hunters this year. … I don't know if I'm going to pee my pants or not, though."
