SmackDown launch a ratings champ for MyNetwork TV
This past Friday, SmackDown exploded onto MyNetwork TV, breaking the record for the highest-rated show in the history of the network and scoring over 200 percent higher ratings than the network did at the same time last year.
The dynamic, new tag team combination of WWE and MyNetwork TV has quickly taken Friday nights by storm. Friday night's new biggest duo scored a monumental victory in the ultra-competitive television standings by once again proving its championship caliber, and besting their competition in drawing over 33 percent more in the much-coveted male 18-34 demographic.
Over 3 million members of the WWE Universe tuned in as every champion competed and more than 50 Superstars were in action for the extravaganza event, including a torrid-paced Champion vs. Champion Triple Threat Match where WWE Champion Triple H defeated World Champion Chris Jericho and ECW Champion Matt Hardy.
The record numbers could be shattered again this week as the WWE Universe tunes in to SmackDown for the aftermath from No Mercy, including Undertaker's reaction to being knocked out by Big Show at Sunday's pay-per-view. (PHOTOS) (FULL NO MERCY COVERAGE)
Don't miss all the action on SmackDown on Friday nights at 8/7 CT on MyNetwork TV.
