Now...it's personal

Discover lesser-known facts about two RAW and two SmackDown Superstars or Divas and two Extremists or Vixens as WWE.com fires a series of questions to get to know what sports-entertainers' lives are like outside of the ropes. Look for "Now...it's personal" on the second Wednesday of each month.  -- Z

Kelly: I don't really watch any of those, actually, but if I had to pick...probably South Park. It's a really cute little show.

Editor's Note: South Park...cute? Luckily Matt Striker doesn't watch any TV shows that are worthwhile or else he'd have you give him a 500-word essay on the word satire for choosing South Park because it was 'cute.' Moving on, the X-Ray vision, does that mean you can see straight through to somebody's skin to their bones, or just through the clothes to the skin? That makes a huge difference--to me any way. --Z

Editor's note: I can't imagine why See No Evil scared you...Kane, a 7'0'' monster, yielding an axe, lopping off people's heads, mutilating their bodies and generally pulverizing everything that gets in his way. Actually, minus the axe and head lopping, that sounds like a recap of what Kane does on RAW every Monday. --Z

RAW Superstar Matt Striker

WWE.com: If your house was on fire, what is the first thing you'd take with you?
Matt Striker: Obviously I would take my limited edition, leather bound copies of the Encyclopedia Britannica. Everyone needs to have knowledge regardless of where they live.

WWE.com: What was the name of your first pet?
Matt Striker: That would be Sammy, named after the mythological strongman in biblical times, Samson. Sammy was a long-haired, black cat. He was oh-so strong, yet oh-so sweet, just like me, Matt Striker…

WWE.com: What is your favorite reality TV show?
Matt Striker: Monday Night RAW is my favorite reality TV show, of course. What a silly question.

WWE.com: What would you be doing if you weren't working in sports-entertainment?
Matt Striker: Well, if Matt Striker wasn't working in sports-entertainment, I'd probably go back to being a professor. Perhaps I'd teach hygiene, or sexual education, or history of political science in women's studies.

WWE.com: What's your favorite Web site?
Matt Striker:That would be WWE.com, where you can read all of my blogs.

WWE.com: What game do you play most when you go to a casino?
Matt Striker: To a what? Oh that's where they do that… that insidious gambling? No, no, no, I'm more of a chess man, actually. It's a great game.

WWE.com: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Matt Striker: What do you mean if I could have a superpower, I do have a superpower, and it's massive intellect, along with my massive ego.

WWE.com: Do you wear boxers or briefs?
Matt Striker: Are you asking about my undergarments?
A student does not ask his teacher such an inappropriate question. And if you have to know, they are boxer briefs.

WWE.com: What is the last movie you saw in a theater?
Matt Striker: The last movie that I witnessed was a great foreign film about the world-renowned leader Otto von Bismarck. Of course it was in Dutch and Malaysian subtitles, but then again, you wouldn't frequent such a film, now would you?

WWE.com: Did you enjoy it?
Matt Striker: Of course I did, I can tell you the whole entire story. Once upon… No? OK.

WWE.com: Do you watch American Idol, The Sopranos or Entourage?
Matt Striker: Oh, that's where they sing and dance. The reason I don't like to watch that show is because no one's doing the real classic songs like Perry Como or Johnny Mathis, or even, you know, Roberta Flack or Donny Hathaway. The Sopranos is just basically filled with gangsters, per se. Actually the only real Italian I know is Vito, and he's quite an attractive man. And what was the third one? Do I watch Austin Idol?

WWE.com: Entourage.
Matt Striker: My what? Actually, I only watch public access television, Masterpiece Theater.

WWE.com: How many hours of sleep do you average per night?
Matt Striker: Well, you see, the average human being takes a ratio of hours to sleep to their IQ, therefore I sleep 24 hours a day.

WWE.com: What is your favorite country to visit?
Matt Striker: My favorite country to visit, I would have to say, would be Italy because of all the history and the fact that I'm received as an absolute intellectual god in Italy.

WWE.com: Coffee or tea?
Matt Striker: Water

WWE.com: What is your favorite board game?
Matt Striker: Again, you've asked the same question. It goes back to chess. I do not play Monopoly; Hungry, Hungry Hippos; Chutes and/or Ladders. No, no, no. It is strictly chess.

WWE.com: South Park, Family Guy or The Simpsons?
Matt Striker: I'd say I'm more of a family guy. … Oh, you're asking about those cartoons. No, you see, I don't engage in such juvenile, animated television shows. If you really, really want to watch a cartoon, then I suggest you watch Schoolhouse Rock.

Editor's note:  Excuse me, teach, but I figured someone with your evolved intellect who enjoys bloviating would be a fierce Scrabble participant. Apparently, my presumptions have been proven incorrect and you're not the sesquipedalian I once believed you to be. Buoyantly yours, Z

Jamie Noble: America, God's country.

WWE.com: South Park, Family Guy or The Simpsons?
