More Diva dreams come true

WWE.com has learned that three of the 2006 $250,000 Diva Search finalists, Maryse Ouellet, Milena Roucka and Amy Zidian, have signed on with WWE to train at Ohio Valley Wrestling next month.

After seeing Ashley win the 2005 Diva Search, Maryse said she was inspired to become a WWE Diva. She said being a finalist in the 2006 Diva Search was one of the best experiences of her life and one of her biggest accomplishments.

"I am very, very excited. It was my dream to become a WWE Diva," Maryse said. "I am from Canada, and it is really hard for us to go to the United States and prove what we are able to do."

Maryse plans to begin training at OVW during the middle of September and hopes to be part of the RAW/SmackDown Supershow in Montreal on Sept. 18. She said she's a little nervous about starting at WWE, since she's still learning English (her native language is French), but she's been preparing for a career as a Diva. She works out at the gym every day and enjoys kickboxing.

Maryse said she'd like to get in the ring with Victoria and Lita.

"I really like their style; they are very aggressive. I like Lita because she is very feminine but aggressive.

"I would like to prove who I am, my personality," Maryse said. "It's a big challenge, and I want to win this challenge. I can be a WWE Diva, for sure."

Milena is just as excited as Maryse to begin a career as a WWE Diva.

"It's just amazing. I've been smiling all day. I screamed when I heard the news! I had watery eyes and stuff," Milena said. "I've been training in martial arts. I love fighting. I've always watched wrestling. It's a dream come true."

Milena said she was so depressed after being eliminated from the 2006 Diva Search, that she just sat around her apartment with her roommate's two Chihuahuas watching DVDs, including WrestleMania 22. Despite her sadness, she continued to train in kickboxing, mu tai and Brazilian jujitsu. She's not sure when she begins training, but she wants to start as soon as possible, so as not to fall behind the other new WWE Diva trainees. She has some favorite WWE Superstars she can't wait to work with, too.

"Trish… Trish for sure! She's my idol. She's the reason why I watched wrestling. She's a true inspiration to me," Milena said, noting she's followed Trish's career from the start.

"Ric Flair is awesome. Randy Orton is cool. John Cena. … Everybody was so respectful and awesome. I'd like to learn how to fight from Finlay, too."

Milena also wanted to thank her fans from the Diva Search competition. She said she loves them with all her heart, and they were the ones who pushed her to continue even after she was eliminated from the 2006 Diva Search.

"I'm so happy and I told them I'd come back, and now I'm coming back. I'm so excited for this new adventure, and I'm going to work my ass off for them. I just want to show them that I can do this," she said.

Amy shares the same sentiment as Maryse and Milena -- she is very excited to begin a career with WWE, too.

"I was completely overwhelmed when I heard. I didn't know who to tell first. I was jumping up and down," Amy said.

She hopes to begin training at OVW as soon as possible, hopefully in early September. She's also been preparing for becoming a Diva by working out on a regular basis.

"I've been weight training for a few months. I've also taken some boxing classes," Amy said.

Amy's favorite WWE Superstar of all time is Ric Flair, and as for the Divas, she'd love to work with Trish Stratus.

"Who would pass up a chance to team up with Trish Stratus?" Amy asked.

She also cites WWE Divas Maria and Candice as her inspiration because they, too, weren't Diva Search winners, but still found success at WWE.

Amy wanted to thank her fans for all their love, support and e-mails she's been receiving.

"I won't let the WWE fans down this time around," Amy said.
