WWE appeals Jakks/THQ decision
World Wrestling Entertainment, in a statement issued Aug. 29, said it would continue its litigation efforts against Jakks/THQ despite a ruling in Connecticut State Court that dismissed WWE's bribery and anti-trust claims against the companies. WWE said: "The decision today from Connecticut State Court says that the prior federal court decision in this matter precludes the Connecticut court from allowing WWE to present our case on the merits. We believe the federal court decision was wrong, and we are taking steps to have it corrected on appeal."
