According to an article posted on Variety.com May 4, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will be honored with the Promax/BDA Lifetime Achievement Award in Manhattan as a part of the 53rd annual Promax/BDA conference.

McMahon is being honored for his accomplishment of transforming the WWE brand from a regional wrestling program to a corporation that spans across all accessible media platforms including, but not limited to, print, Internet, film, television and live events. Promax/BDA CEO Jonathan Block-Verk described WWE as incorporating "virtually every conceivable platform available in today's marketplace."
