Yankees championship tradition helps streak bloom

As reported on a couple weeks ago, the New York Yankees' new tradition of passing a replica WWE Championship for the hero of the game has added a spark to the Yankee clubhouse. The title, which was given to outfielder Johnny Damon by starting pitcher A.J. Burnett's son, has become a coveted prize in the locker room with every player wanting to be the Superstar of the game with Damon earning back the title this Sunday following a walk-off homerun.
