The Lunatic Fringe provides his own unique twist on the local morning news in Louisiana, complete with a weather report.

The Lunatic Fringe took the viewers of Lafayette, La.’s local ABC affiliate on a wild (and entertaining) ride during their “Good Morning Acadiana” show when he dropped by for an interview. Rather than exchange the typical niceties the station’s anchors were likely expecting, however, Ambrose exploded out of the gate, declaring his legitimacy as WWE World Heavyweight Champion while his interviewer struggled to keep up (he did, however, offer to call up Seth Rollins for an impromptu match).

Thankfully for the crew, there was a brief lull in the storm during a game of word association — turns out Dean’s a Doink the Clown fan. But “Hurricane Ambrose” soon kicked up once again, ironically enough, during the weather segment when The Lunatic Fringe offered a brutally succinct take on the local weather after the poor meteorologist allowed himself to be pre-empted.

All in all, it was a news appearance on “Good Morning Acadiana” that the WWE Universe, won’t soon forget.
