The New Nexus rebounded from a loss to Kane & Big Show at WWE Over the Limit 2011 by seizing the WWE Tag Team Championship gold from the leviathans on Raw 24 hours later. Through the divine intervention of leader CM Punk, the team of David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty overcame the seemingly unstoppable force of WWE's largest gladiators. The victory brought the titles to the black and yellow, "N"-armbanded camp and reestablished the group as a force on Raw.
